Tunic has a high neck and a standing collar that is faced with a khaki green woollen fabric and edged with silver braid and lace. The lining of the tunic is slightly quilted with panels of a cream woollen fabric as well as a cream twill. The internal waistband is constructed from a red leather and fastens via two concealed hook and eye fastenings. At the reverse there is also a metal hook on the waistband which would have been used to hold a type of pouch known as a sabretache. British Army
