Olive green wool coat liner with large cotton patch pockets to the front, vertical pocket access slits and cut-outs under each arm. The sleeves and top half of the body are lined in olive satin rayon or viscose which also trims the cut-out and slits.
United States Army
Waterproof coat made from a black PVC oilskin material. Coat has a short collar which is lined with a black wool. Coat fastens at the front via three, brown buttons on a concealed button placket [one button missing] and a fourth which is visible just below the collar on the right side. Two patch pockets with flaps are found to the front. The coat has a straight sleeve with no cuff and a rear vent which fastens with a single button.
Royal Navy
Parka style waterproof jacket in black. Jacket has a concealed fastening at the front with toggles at the waist and hem that can be tightened. At either side of the waist are two large patch pockets with flaps. White stripes are found on either shoulder. Strips of velcro are found at each cuff and on the left side of the chest.

Thigh length, parka style jacket in a khaki green fabric. Jacket is front fastening and has a strap fastening at the neck. A zip that runs the circumference of the collar contains a hood. At the front of the jacket are four large pockets with pointed flaps; two either side of the chest and two either side of the waist. Button down epaulettes are found at each shoulder and similar straps with button fastening are found at the cuff of each sleeve. Österreich is written on the arm.

A zip that runs the circumference of the collar contains a detachable hood that can be buttoned in place. At the front of the jacket are four, flap pockets; two either side of the chest and two either side of the waist. Button down epaulettes are found at each shoulder. Waist of jacket is slightly elasticated. At shoulder height on the left sleeve is a small Belgian flag.

At chest level on either side of the opening there is is a vertical, zip pocket. At either side of the waist there is a large patch pocket with a flap. There is a strap at the cuff on either sleeve.
Belgian Armed Forces
Single breasted jacket in a khaki cotton drill fabric. Jacket has notch lapels and there are two stitched holes on either side of the collar that likely would have been used to fix insignia [badges] to the jacket. The jacket is front fastening via four buttons [missing]. At either side of the chest are box pleated patch pockets with scalloped edged flaps. Popper fastenings are at either edge of the flap. Originally there would have been a button fastening at the centre of each flap but these are missing. Above the pocket on the left side there is a stitched hole, similar to those on the collar, through which a badge or insignia could be attached. Two large, rectangular patch pockets with flaps [non scalloped] can be found at waist level. These would also have originally been fastened via a button. The cuffs are faced in an identical khaki fabric cut in a scallop shape. There is a strap at each shoulder. At the reverse there is a seam that runs down the centre and meets a vent which is 35cm in length from the hem up. The inside of the jacket is unlined.
British Army
Short jacket in olive green cotton fabric with a notched collar. A buttonhole is found on the lapel on the left side. Jacket is front fastening via buttons on a concealed button placket. Strips of velcro are also used on the front of the jacket. A vertical, jetted pocket with a zip fastening is found at chest level on either side of the opening. Each cuff has a popper fastening. Epaulettes are found on each of the shoulders. The waistband of the jacket is elasticated at the reverse.
