              Short sleeved cream wool knitted pullover top worn as an undergarment. It has a crew neck and front packet with three buttonholes (only the middle button remains intact). It is constructed with flat fell seams and has no shoulder seams . The sleeve seams form a diamond shaped underarm gusset. It has a curved hem, longer at the back and gussets at the side seams.

              Rayon blend white jersey vest. It has been constructed as a tubular knit on a rotary frame so there are no side seams. The arm holes have been cut to sit very narrowly on the chest and the neck and armholes have been finished with a thick coverstitch with a much lighter rolled hem finishing on the hem.               Blue and white striped pyjama trousers (part of a pair of pyjamas). They are made of Luvisca, a fabric made of cotton and rayon yarns. The vertical stripes are a mix of broad pale blue, narrower stripes of mid and dark blue all edged with narrow white stripes. They have a drawstring waist fastening with a length of narrow white cotton tape (frayed ends) and an open fly with placket at the centre front. The waistband has been altered. Luvisca

              Blue and white striped pyjama jacket (part of a pair of pyjamas). It is made of Luvisca, a fabric made of cotton and rayon yarns. The vertical stripes are a mix of broad pale blue, narrower stripes of mid and dark blue all edged with narrow white stripes. The jacket has a turn down collar and fastens centre front with three opaque white plastic buttons. It has a small opaque white plastic button at the collar which fastens with a loop (possibly added later). On the left chest is a patch pocket with a pointed welt with the stripes horizontal. Label in the form of a hanging loop in the back of the neck in red lettering on white with an emblem of a red button in a black circle with 'TESTED QUALITY' around the outside. Size 40. Luvisca

              Long sleeved shirt made of light yellow fine chamois leather. It opens down the front, crossing over and fastening with four white buttons to the right side, and one button to the left side at the neck. The button holes are hand stitched. The neck opening has a slight V shape at the centre front as does the right side of the shirt. The neck, edges of each front side, the lower hem, and the cuffs are all trimmed with white twill weave cotton tape. The cuffs fasten with one button and button hole. The bottom edge of the shirt is curved so it is slightly longer at the centre front and back than at the side seams. The panels are made of two different shades of yellow chamois, one slightly lighter. It is sewn with a mixture of hand and machine stitching. Designer unknown
