Scope and content

A calendar, titled "SMP 1986". Printed in colour on white paper with a brown cardboard backing and ring bound together. The calendar is made by SMP Group of Companies and is designed by Gordon Cullen, there are two months on each page and an intricate drawing by Cullen above the months, each drawing has a title and a short description. Drawings included are "Hanuman 1969" an intricately decorated archway and a face, "The Hour of the Siesta" the interior space of a pub, "The Empty House 1979" an open door looking down a corridor, "St. Andrew's Church, Wraysbury 1976" the exterior of a church and vegetation, "Bar aux Arcades" the interior space of a restaurant or bar looking out onto the exterior street and "The Urban Game" three drawings of buildings and streets.
