Oversized coat in a bright red, wool fabric. Coat is single breasted and fastens at the front via two black, plastic, shank buttons. Coat has notch lapels and a small, turn down collar which is made from a ribbed, cotton fabric. At waist level on either side of the opening are two large, patch pockets with ribbed, cotton trims. The seams of the coat are decoratively topstitched on either side of the join. This is particularly prevalent on the shoulder seams. At the reverse of the coat there are two curved seams that run from the armpit and stop about 30cm from the hem, where they open into vents. The coat is unlined.
