            Trousers made from a heavy, woollen twill fabric in a khaki brown colour. Trousers are front fastening via five khaki, plastic buttons [one missing] on a concealed button placket. There is a pleat at either side of the opening. On the waistband there is a hook and eye fastening and a concealed button on an extended tab. On the inside of the waistband are six sets of two plastic buttons, placed at regular intervals, to enable braces to be worn and adjusted. The outside of the waistband features three belt loops and waist adjuster tabs at each side seam for added security. At each hip, there are slanted pockets which sit just forward of the side seam. At the reverse there are two flap pockets, each fastening via a plastic button. A side mounted map pocket with a flap and button fastening can be found on the upper left leg.             British Rail orange over trousers. They have an elasticated waist with a welted opening on the right side which fastens with a black plastic button. The welt on the opening has a British Rail logo in red on navy blue sewn on to it. On the left side is a jetted opening. Large black mark to the left front leg at the knee.

            British Rail orange over trousers. They have an elasticated waist with a welted opening on the right side which fastens with a black plastic button. The welt on the opening has a British Rail logo in red on navy blue sewn on to it. On the left side is a jetted opening. Considerably worn and dirty.

            Sportswear trousers in cream cotton. Trousers are front fastening with a button fly. This comprises of four corozo nut buttons on a central, concealed placket that widens near the waistband; two buttons sitting off centre at the top of the placket, fastening to an internal flap; and a further two buttons stitched to the inside of the waistband on the left which fasten through button holes on the waistband to the right. The waistband has belt loops; adjustable buckles at either side of the waist; and internal buttons front and back to which braces can be attached. Angled, inseam pockets sit at either side of the waist and at the back are two welted pockets with a button fastening. The trouser legs have permanent turn ups, 1.5 inches deep. The trousers have been extensively altered having been made larger with alterations down the back seam and at the fly. Unknown

            Single breasted, black woollen jacket with a stand up collar. The jacket is front fastening via five domed, brass buttons with regimental insignia and the collar via a double hook and eye fastening. Two matching brass buttons are found on each cuff as well as a brass button on each of the shoulder straps. These straps also display three metal rank badges. On the front of the jacket are four large patch pockets, two on the chest and two at the waist. The two chest pockets have flaps and a brass button closure. A medal ribbon is located on the left side of the chest, above the patch pocket. Brass insignia are attached to the outside of the collar on either side of the opening. There is a 16cm vent at each of the side seams. To the reverse, there is a centre seam that runs the length of the reverse and then a seam on either side of this which curves out from the shoulder seam and runs vertically to the hem. The inside of the jacket is lined with a black satin fabric. The inside of the collar has five brass studs to enable a removable, stiff white collar to be attached [2022.36.20.2]. British Army

            Silver coloured aluminised material jacket. It has a stand collar and large curved detachable throat guard. It closes centre front with a wide placket flap over the closure. There are two large flapped bellows pockets at the hips and a narrow flapped bellows pocket on the left chest.
