            Heavy overcoat in a pale grey wool. Thigh length, the coat is single breasted with notch lapels. The coat fastens at the front via two grey / brown plastic buttons. At each side of the waist there is jetted pocket which is concealed by a deep flap. On each side of the coat, there is a dart that extends down from chest level to the top corner of each pocket flap, closest to the opening. Each arm has two seams, one that runs from collar to cuff and one that runs from armpit to cuff. At each cuff there are three grey / brown buttons which are smaller versions of those found at the front of the coat. At the reverse of the coat, there is a seam that runs vertically down the centre until it meets a vent that extends up from the hem. There is another seam that runs across the shoulders. On either side of the centre seam, there is a seam that runs vertically from the horizontal shoulder seam to the hem. On the inside, the coat is lined with a dark grey silk fabric. On the right side, there is a jetted, chest pockets with a small, grey plastic botton that fastens through a grey silk loop. At chest level on the left side, there is a vertical, in seam pocket where the lining meets the wool outer fabric. 无标题的

            Round necked, cotton, tunic shirt in a grey and pink pencil line stripe on a white background. The shirt has a half placket or 'tunic' front with three buttons. It has a neckband collar to which a detachable collar could be fitted via worked stud holes on neck band [two at front and one stud hole in pocket at back of neck]. Each sleeve has a French cuff with four worked link holes enabling cufflinks to be worn when the sleeve is doubled back. Shirt is long in length so that is stays tucked in securely.             CC41 St Michael Striped Shirt with Detachable Trubenised Collar

            Long blue cotton shirt with dark green and green alternate stripes and detachable collar. The shirt is finished with white top stitching and features a placket that finishes half way down the shirt with three white mother of pearl buttons to close. Both the collar and white cotton faced collar stand have three white button holes ready for the attachment of collar to body. The back of the shirt has short two piece yoke with a centre box pleat below. The cuffs are wide with four button holes on each in the absence of two cufflinks per cuff. The detachable collar is short and curved and has been 'Trubenised' - the process of stiffening a collar without the use of starch. The shirt is 'sanforized shrunk' which was a pre-shrunk material guarantee (Sanforized was the American method, Rigmel was the British method). The shirt has a curved hem with curved side vents finished with triangular tabs on either side. It has a 'CC41' Utility label.

            Silk Shirt With Two Removable Collars

            Cream silk dress shirt with two detachable stiffened collars. The shirt has fold up cuffs for cufflinks and five centre front buttons. The top button is fastened with a stud which also attaches the collar stand to the shirt. There is another hole in the back neck to secure the collar to the shirt.

            I Was Lord Kitchener's Valet Shirt with Braid Trim

            White silk long sleeved shirt with braid trim and stand collar. The silk has slubs and a matt surface on one side and a satin finish on the underside. The shirt fastens at the neck with a press stud (one side missing) and buttons down the centre front with five plastic buttons hidden by a placket. The braid trim is made of loops of different types of apricot coloured and gold threads and is sewn around the collar, cuffs and down the centre front. It has a vent in the centre back and gussets in the sleeves near the cuffs to create a wider opening.

            John Stephen Op Art Shirt

            Button down shirt with black and white op art print and contrasting white pointed collar and cuffs. The centre front has facings on both sides to ensure a clean placket with no top stitching interfering with the print. It is secured with six clear plastic buttons and there are a further twobbuttons securing at the peaks of the collar and one at the pointed centre back collar. The cuffs have one button fastening each. The shirt has a patch pocket sewn onto the left breast, a back yoke and a curved hem.

            Previous owner purchased the shirt from the H.P. Wasson Department Store "Mod Shop" in Indianapolis, Indiana during his senior year of high school in 1966.
