              Hard wearing, ankle high, work boots made from a brown leather. The boots have leather laces which thread through the seven pairs of eyelets. There is a steel toe cap and across each toe there is decorative perforations similar to those found on brogues. The boots have a chunky sole which is made from rubber. Unknown

At the front are five sets of hooked eyelets [often referred to as ‘speed hooks'] and a single pair of eyelets at the ankle through which laces can be threaded [missing].               Pair of boy's lace-up, black leather, ankle boots. Boots are lined with white cotton and have leather insoles. The boots have rounded toes with a line of broguing across the toe caps. The boots have black, cord laces which thread through seven pairs of eyelet holes and tab loops of twilled fabric at the back of the ankle.               Pair of black chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) proof overboots made of injection-moulded bromobutyl (rubber). Each boot fastens with three tabs and buttons. Printed with date 2003 on the inside. The soles are ridged and they have been worn.

              Pair of black leather combat high-top boots with zip fastening, double set of eyelets, green rubber outsole and toe cap. The tongue of each boot has an Opti metal zip fastening down the centre and ten pairs of eyelets down each side. The quarter of the boot overlaps the tongue on each side with nine pairs of black metal eyelets. The long black cotton laces can be threaded through both sets of eyelet holes, or just the outer ones.

              The green rubber sole is a variation of the traditional moulded commando sole and includes the toe cap of the boots. There are two rows of stitching across the top line of the shoe and a perforated finish across the welt of the out sole. 'Helmut Lang' is printed in silver on the heel area of the inside lining and is embossed into rubber sole.

              Black leather boots with seven pairs of lace holes and thick round woven black laces. They have a padded tongue which is sewn into the quarters and a padded section around the collar at the top back. The upper is in three parts, two quarters sewn down the centre back, and the vamp in one piece. The moulded sole is made of black heat and oil resistant material. Lined in black synthetic fabric.
