The 12th of an extensive series of 16 volumes focused on the study of the Antique Monuments raised and restored by Retired Architects from the French Academy in Rome. It offers a suite of original etched plates of different scaled views, plans and elevations from Italy and the Roman Provinces: Tombs on the Appian Way; Circus of Maxentius; Tomb of Cecilia Metella; Temple of Fortune in Preneste (Palestrina).
