The 3rd of five volumes dedicated to the study of the Antiquities of Athens. It contains descriptive and critical text, accompanied by original etchings of drawings, scaled elevations, sections and plans of a series of buildings and architectural details. Subjects included: Plan of Athens; Map of Attica; Temple of Theseus; Temple of Jupiter Olympus, also called the Columns of Hadrian; Arch of Theseus, or of Hadrian; Aqueduct of Hadrian; Monument of Philopappus; Temple at Corinth; Bridge over the Ilyssis, and the Stadium Panathenaic; Odeum of Regilla; Ruin at Salonika, called the Incantada; Island of Delos; Ionic Colonnade near the Lantern of Demosthenes; Other Antiquities.
