The 2nd of five volumes dedicated to the study of the Antiquities of Athens. It contains descriptive and critical text, accompanied by original etchings of drawings, scaled elevations, sections and plans of a series of buildings and architectural details. Subjects included: General View and Plan of the Acropolis; Temple of Minerva, called Parthenon and Hecatompedon; Temples of Erechteus, Minerva Polias, and Pandrosus; Theatre of Bacchus; Choragic Monument of Thrasyllus; Propylaea.
