A study of French Wood Carvings from the National Museums (Museums of Science and Art Dublin; South Kensington Museum; Museum of Science and Art, Edinborough; The Art Corporation Galleries, Glasgow), from late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. It contains a short introduction, texts describing specific examples of wood carving and a series of plates printed in collotype from the photographs specially taken from the carvings direct.
