The second volume of a series of books on general architecture. It consists of books VI-IX comprising numerous chapters on domestic architecture, interior design and public architecture. The focus is on the main types of room (kitchen, living room, bathroom, studio, library) and the types of public buildings (schools, high schools, universities, museums, libraries, administrative, political and municipal buildings, penitenciaries, hospitals) and their characteristics. The texts are accompanied by various drawings, photographs, plans, elevations and sections, some to scale.
