White, cotton jabot [scarf] with pleats running its length and ornate lace trim at either end. The inside of the jabot is reinforced and halfway down the length there is a loop at the top edge so that the jabot can be fastened to the back of the collar of the shirt that it is being worn with.

With its origins in the 17th Century, a jabot forms a decorative ruffle at the neckline of a shirt which extends down the front.
