Scope and content
Black, knee length breeches in a velvet fabric. Breeches are front opening via three mother-of-pearl buttons on a concealed button placket. Six matching buttons sit on the outside of the waistband to enable braces to be worn. The cuffs of the breeches at each knee have three buttons, as well as a buckle in marcasite by way of fastening. At the reverse of the breeches there is a cinch fastening and single, button fastened pocket. The breeches are unlined.
