Six matching buttons sit on the outside of the waistband to enable braces to be worn. The cuffs of the breeches at each knee have three buttons, as well as a buckle in marcasite by way of fastening. At the reverse of the breeches there is a cinch fastening and single, button fastened pocket. The breeches are unlined.
