Long sleeve, round neck jumper, knitted from a cream coloured wool. There is ribbing at the neck, cuffs and hem. Different stitches are used as part of the design of the jumper, including cable stitch and honeycomb stitch.

This style of jumper originated from the Aran Islands which are located off Connemara on the West Coast of Ireland. Originally fisherman's jumpers, the stitches had different meanings and the patterns were unique to enable people to be easily identified in case of an accident.
