管理历史
The business started in 1869 as a single tailors shop, founded by William Sugden in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire. William, his four sons and daughter grew the business enough to move to a factory at Water Lane Mills in Cleckheaton. This lead to the creation of 'The Water Lane' brand in 1924. The brand proved so successful that further factories were opened across Yorkshire. During the First and Second world wars, we produced close to six million shirts and work suits for the armed forces. Today, WM Sugden is a supplier of work shirts and uniforms to UK Police Forces and Emergency Services, we are proud to clothe a large number of local and national companies across a variety of business sectors. The company remains family owned.
