Production was a label established by Massimo Osti in 1995. He aimed for it to consist of a series of products rather than fashion pieces. Features of the collections included Tecnowool (wool bonded with nylon) and the 'double use' styles with linings that could be worn separately.

The label established and designed by Massimo Osti (1944-2005). He called it Left Hand because he was left handed. The first collection in 1993 was womenswear, followed by menswear collections. He partnered with Dismi 92 of Florence for the production, a manufacturing company owned by the Allegri family. Exclusively designed fabrics for the label were produced by ITS Artea and innovation in synthetics and technical materials were intrinsic to the designs. This included Thermojoint which bonded cotton and PVC.

Zip fronted gilet in a black cotton mix with a high, rounded neck that has a popper fastening at the neck. Sleeveless, the armholes of the gilet are lined with red cotton mix fabric which is visible on the outside when the jacket is worn, giving a layered effect. On the left side of the front, the gilet has a large, rectangular pocket with a zip fastening. A vertical, welted, inseam pocket can be found on either side of the waist at the side seams. The lining of the jacket is made from a red polyester, mesh style fabric. At the back of the jacket, there is a cord tie that runs through a 3cm wide channel that runs across the back from side seam to side seam. This tie id 14cm from the bottom and enables the gilet to be tightened.
