Pleated multi-coloured cotton face mask designed by the British designers, Marta and Paulo, founders of Marques'Almeida. The front panel is printed with an abstract design in black and purple resembling clouds or fog. The inside panel is white and printed with the designer logo 'M/A' and 'Radical Empathy' in black ink. The mask has a nose strip to adjust fit and black adjustable elastic loops on each side to go over the ears. It is double layered, without a pocket for filters. This mask is one of a pack of three, including two other designers, Thornton Bregazzi for Preen and Priya Ahluwalia. The pack also includes two protective white cotton pouches, printed with Bags of Ethics logo and materials information in black ink.

      ‘Great British Designer Face Coverings’ is a project which has seen the leading British and American fashion designer community unite, to create face coverings that can help instill public confidence, during a time of crisis. These reusable face coverings offer and alternative solution to single-use plastic coverings and do not deplete essential PPE items for healthcare workers. Essential funds will be raised for community charities through the proceeds of the sale of these coverings.
      A portion of the profits from the sales of face coverings will be donated and split between BFC Foundation Fashion Fund for the Covid Crisis (British Fashion Council Foundation, Charity Number: 1099686) and the Council of Fashion Designers of America Foundation, Inc. supporting its diversity and inclusivity initiatives.
