Cream cap with purple and pink striped tape edge. The side of the cap extends down to cover the ear, with a bound edge hole to the ear on the flap. The ends of the flap have a length of cotton tape which tie under the chin to secure the cap. The front panel has an embroidered Sidney house pheon azure (broad arrow) in purple thread. Made in UK

      Founded in 1837, Sidney Sussex Boat Club is the rowing club for members of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. The breast pocket features the clubs coat of arms and the college’s motto in Latin – Dieu me Garde de Calomnie – which translates as ‘God preserve me from slander’.
