Apron made of rounded rectangular plates of aluminium joined by metal links. The plates are embossed with the words 'FRANCE' and 'LAMEX'. The apron has white cotton webbing straps which attach with metal fastenings at each side of the front chest and can be adjusted for length. They cross at the back and clip to the sides. There is an additional cotton webbing strap which fastens across the back waist.
