Scope and content
Cream hand knitted wool henley jumper made in the style of a 1900's French knitted undergarment. It is fully fashioned and constructed from a basic stockinette stitch with purl stitch lines running either side of the side seams and a single line connecting the sleeve. The wide placket is made up of a checkerboard pattern of purl and plain stitch and features three mother of pearl buttons. It has a wide angled scoop neck, for layering over a base layer garment and diamond underarm gussets for comfort and movement. The body and the single rib cuffs are in an oatmeal colour with the sleeves in a lighter cream. The hem is made up of a double rib.
