Scope and content

Single-breasted rubberized khaki cotton long coat with detachable belt and extra large patch pockets with flaps to the front. It has a turn down collar with a hook and eye fastening where the collar meets the lapel and a button hole to the left lapel. It fastens with three large mottled brown plastic buttons and a concealed button placket. The patch pockets have been glued to the front of the coat, they have a jetted slit on the inside allowing access and an internal tab and button to fasten. Under each arm are ten metal eyelet holes for ventilation. There is a centre back seam with long vent and on the inside is a large inverted pleated flap to cover the vent. There are belt loops to each side seam at waist level and the belt has a rectangular leather covered buckle and metal eyelet holes.

The coat has a brown and beige tartan lining to the upper back with ‘REGGANWEAR’ label to the centre. There is a detachable neck guard buttoned to the centre left opening and a small jetted pocket inside the placket. All of the seams are finished with wide tapes of material glued over the seams.
