Scope and content

Double breasted coat made of sheepskin. The outside is a dark tan suede with the cream sheep wool creating the lining. It fastens at the front with eight large tan leather knot buttons and one extra under the right collar. It has two welted and curved pockets at each hip created by an inside patch of sheepskin sewn through to the front. There are two vents at the back. The collar, lapel, pocket, hem and cuff edges of the coat are bound in light brown leather. The cuffs, collar and lapel turn back to show the cream sheep wool. It has a silver coloured metal chain hanging loop at the back of the neck.
