Looking for an inexpensive way to create an all-over print, Hodges discovered an industrial process for printing on the tarpaulins used for the sides of haulage trucks. The imagery is from a trip to a folk festival that has been arranged in the style of outdoor signage on pubs to advertise Sky Sports.
