Hein Gerike opened his first motorcycle shop in Düsseldorf, Germany in 1970. The company expanded to include clothing and accessories for bikers and began operating across Europe. They also developed the HIPROTECT soft armour system. The business went into administration several times between 2012 and 2018.

Black leather jacket with two zip pockets at hips, elasticated waist at back and belt straps attached at waist fastening with a buckle. Removable quilted black lining. The jacket has a half circle section around each armhole sewn with five rows of stitching. Fastens centre front with zip and black press studs, zip has red and black enamelled pull with 'HeinGericke' on it.
