Company founder Åke Nordin was born in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. In 1950 he created his own backpack with a wooden frame. Ten years later he launched his first product for sale, a backpack with an aluminium frame. Through the 1960s and 1970s the company expanded the product range to include tents, sleeping bags, jackets and trousers such as the Greenland Jacket, the Expedition Down Jacket and the Kånken backpack. In 2017 the company created Bergtagen, a mountaineering collection.

Pale green or beige gilet with multiple pockets. Three large flapped patch pockets, two at hips and one at left chest, fasten with press studs. The two hip pockets have additional small zipped pockets on them, the chest pocket has a small pocket which closes with a press stud. On the left chest is a knife or pen pocket. It closes centre front with a zip and press studs and has a drawstring at hem. The cream cotton lining is printed with a check pattern in yellow, orange and khaki and the fox logo. A leather fox logo is on the left hip pocket. Size: Japan L, Europe M.
