Tan coloured cotton and polyamide mix fabric over coat with wool and polyester mix charcoal grey lining. The coat fastens with three brown plastic buttons engraved 'Aigle 1853' and has an additional button under the collar allowing it to be buttoned up. There are three flapped button pockets on the front, one angled at chest and two angled at hips. Cuffs have button tabs and there is a vent at back which fastens with a small button and loop.
