            Heavy black rubberised double breasted raincoat. It has ten brown polished wooden buttons down the centre front with two more securing the full length storm guard. All features are to ensure maximum protection against the weather. The large collar has a throat guard and all seams are stitchws and heat sealed to ensure they remain waterproof. There are two large grommeted front patch pockets with each pocket bag extending up onto the flap to allow for more protection against the weather. It has two internal pockets and an internal storm flap. It features traditional epaulettes that fasten with poppers with 'Newey Brothers Ltd Bham' and 'Newey Pat. 201430-22' engraved into the poppers. The belt is sewn into the centre back and held in place with belt loops positioned on the side seams. It has a black metal slider. The coat has a buttoning rear vent and hidden elasticated storm cuffs that are adjustable via two wooden buttons. It also has a black cotton tape sewn into the neck as a hanging loop. The coat is unlined.

            Trousers made from a heavy, woollen twill fabric in a khaki brown colour. Trousers are front fastening via five khaki, plastic buttons [one missing] on a concealed button placket. There is a pleat at either side of the opening. On the waistband there is a hook and eye fastening and a concealed button on an extended tab. On the inside of the waistband are six sets of two plastic buttons, placed at regular intervals, to enable braces to be worn and adjusted. The outside of the waistband features three belt loops and waist adjuster tabs at each side seam for added security. At each hip, there are slanted pockets which sit just forward of the side seam. At the reverse there are two flap pockets, each fastening via a plastic button. A side mounted map pocket with a flap and button fastening can be found on the upper left leg.             Olive green canvas tabard with six large pockets on the front and back. The tabard has a low round neck and side openings which are edged in green cotton binding. The pockets have been made by one piece of fabric with inverted pleats at the bottom and then sewn vertically in six sections so they are wider at the top and stand away from the body of the tabard. The stitching is in yellow thread. The tabard is unlined and the makers label is sewn into the right rear inside.

            White cotton waist belt with a point at one end. Towards the pointed end of the belt there are six button holes. At the other end of the belt there are 3 button holes and a single small, white, plastic button. There is a traditional belt loop that loops the whole way around the belt width wise and a 13cm strip of fabric that is stitched onto the belt horizontally to keep this in place. British Army

            White cotton jacket with a stand up collar. Jacket fastens at the front via five buttons [missing] and a double hook and eye fastening at the collar. There are four large pockets at the front of the jacket. Two button down patch pockets with pleats at chest level and two flapped patch pockets at the waist. The flaps on all four pockets have curved hems and are longer at the edges and the centre. There are popper fastenings at each of the corners of these pockets. Similar curved detailing can be seen on each arm towards the cuffs and also on the reverse of the jacket. Here there is a seam that curves from the shoulder blade on each side and runs vertically the length of the reverse to the hem. Either side of the waist there is a belt loop at the each side seam. On each shoulder there is a smaller loop where the epaulettes are attached. The jacket is unlined. British Army

            White cotton trousers with pleats that run from the waistband and a crease down each leg. Trousers are front fastening via four white plastic buttons with an extended tab at the waistband. On one end of this tab there is a hook that fastens onto the outside of the waistband. At the other end of this tab, there are two button holes, through which two buttons that are on the inside of the waistband fasten. There is a small buckle fastening at each side of the waistband that can be adjusted for added security. At either side of the waist there is a vertical, in seam pocket. At the reverse there is a single, welted pocket with a button fastening. The trousers are unlined. British Army

            Short sleeved, cotton pique polo shirt in white. Polo shirt has placket opening at the front which can be fastened up to the neck with two white/cream, iridescent, plastic buttons and a collar. The trim of each sleeve is ribbed which gives some stretch and there is a vent at either side of the waist. St Michael

            Waistcoat from three piece wool tweed workwear suit with cotton lining. The wool tweed is dark grey herringbone twill with widely set one thread stripes in red and green. The waistcoat has pointed fronts and deep V neckline with three welted angled pockets - two at the waist and one at the left chest. It fastens with five black plastic buttons. The back of the waistcoat is dark grey twill cotton with two long tabs at the waist for adjustment by a metal buckle (corroded). It is lined in cream cotton with staining and soiling. Tuff as Steel

            High waist shorts in dark blue wool. Shorts fasten at the centre front fly with four plastic buttons on a concealed button placket. Four large loops can be found at the waist to enable a belt to be worn. Two pleats run down from the waist band at the front on either side of the fly. At the waist there are slanted pockets on either side. The shorts are unlined apart from a band of cream cotton to the inside waistband. The inside hem of each leg has probably been altered and has been stitched up by hand. Bukta

            Single breasted jacket in a heavy duty herringbone brown wool tweed. Jacket fastens at the front via three brown, plastic buttons and is without a back vent. Jacket has a welted breast pocket and two flapped pockets at the hips. On the inside, there is a jetted chest pocket to the right side; a smaller jetted chest pocket to the left side; and a large jetted pocket with button closure beneath it at waist level. The label is sewn to the right inner pocket. The jacket is made from a brown Derby Tweed, the pattern of which has the look of a broken herringbone with a wide orange pinstripe. The lining of the jacket is in a khaki coloured cotton. Tuff as Steel
