            Waterproof coat made from a black PVC oilskin material. Coat has a short collar which is lined with a black wool. Coat fastens at the front via three, brown buttons on a concealed button placket [one button missing] and a fourth which is visible just below the collar on the right side. Two patch pockets with flaps are found to the front. The coat has a straight sleeve with no cuff and a rear vent which fastens with a single button. Royal Navy

            Long full white heavy twill cotton shorts. They are high waisted with a wide waistband. The waistband is a channel with two vertical openings on either side of the centre button fastening, and two of the same openings on either side of the centre back, for a belt or tie to be threaded through. They fasten with two buttons at the waistband and a three button fly. Two vertical inset pockets at the hips and four pleats in the front - two on each side. The legs have wide turn up hems which are machine sewn. Label in the back of the waistband. Bukta

            MK1 Dispatch Riders helmet made by BMB [Briggs Motor Bodies] of Dagenham. Metal shell which has extensive all-over rust. Cream cotton canvas webbing liner straps with padded coarse wool felt liner for additional stability. Tan leather support inside the crown and dark brown leather ear flaps and support at the back of the head which are lined in beige wool flannel with two cream wool felt pieces to cover the ears. This is adjustable by lacing via eight metal eyelet holes with separate black cotton lace. The thin leather chin strap fastens with a metal buckle and is broken away from the right ear flap.

            Bucket style hat with a soft, wide-brim. Hat is made from a cream cotton fabric with a blue / green trim around the brim. There are two eyelets, made from metal with a blue / green coating, placed on either side of the crown of the hat for ventilation. Unknown

            Long sleeved shirt in a dark green [olive], drab herringbone, cotton twill. Shirt has a turn down collar and is front fastening via six metal buttons. The collar, sleeves, and back are made from a light beige-pink cotton jersey with a fleece underside. The front is crafted from woven red tartan wool with a check pattern in dark green, yellow, white, and blue. The centre front neck opening is fitted with a short metal AERO zip.             These jeans are made from 100% cotton, unwashed denim and sanforized to allow for 1% shrinkage. The front includes two curved pockets, with a coin pocket inside the front right pocket, all secured by brass inverted rivets inscribed with "Lee" around their edges. A zipper fly is located at the centre front, with the waistband secured by an antique-polished metal top button and a fish-eye buttonhole closure. The waistband has seven belt loops, reinforced with bar tacks, and topstitched in contrasting gold thread.

            Additional features include back pocketing, tabs, stretch fabric, and gold topstitched selvage detailing. A black woven *Lee Riders* label is stitched on the inner waistband. The back features a leather *Lee* label stitched near the side seam, a yoked design across the hips, and two back pockets with the distinctive "lazy S" emblem machine-stitched across each pocket. A small black woven *Lee* label is sewn onto the top right back pocket. The trouser hem is turned up and finished with topstitching.
