            Brown one-piece knitted wool swim suit. The top half of the swim suit has horizontal stripes in pale blue, pale brown and brown and is in the shape of a cutaway vest with narrow straps over the shoulders. At the waist it has a wide stripe in pale blue in the style of a belt and it has brown belt loops. The bottom half of the suit is brown wool knit with legs finishing at the top of the thigh.             Black wool single-breasted three-button lounge jacket with peak lapels, crafted from twill serge as part of a three-piece suit. It features one slanted breast pocket and two hip pockets with deep flaps. The cuffs have three buttons with a sham vent. The jacket is lined in black cotton sateen, while the sleeves are lined in cream striped cotton. A Montague Burton label is sewn into the lining of the breast pocket, with a factory label inside the pocket. The jacket is made-to-measure, likely produced in the Burton factory on Hudson Road, Leeds, in the north of England.

            Cream mantle with a hood lined in red silk, featuring a long red cord stitched into the neck that extends down to the waist, ending in large tassels. A large badge denoting the rank of Provincial Standard Bearer (Beauceant) is affixed to the upper left side, over a red double cross constructed from stitched red tape.             Long sleeve patchwork shirt in green. The shirt has a sloping, round neckline with an open V-neck collar. The collar and cuffs are in a white ribbed knit. The length of the cuffs is approximately 10cm. White cotton woven webbing reinforcement sits inside the neck opening. The shirt has a drawstring neckline with metal reinforcement and eight hand-stitched eyelet holes for the string.             Yellow and black (faded) long sleeved cotton sports shirt. The shirt is made in the 'quartered' style with the front and back of the shirt made of two quarters yellow and two quarters black. The right sleeve is black with a yellow cuff and the left sleeve is yellow with a black cuff. It has a turn down collar and short opening to the chest which fastens with two buttons.             Long full white heavy twill cotton shorts. They are high waisted with a wide waistband. The waistband is a channel with two vertical openings on either side of the centre button fastening, and two of the same openings on either side of the centre back, for a belt or tie to be threaded through. They fasten with two buttons at the waistband and a three button fly. Two vertical inset pockets at the hips and four pleats in the front - two on each side.             White cotton shorts with red trim on hems and sides and an elasticated waistband. Two cream / white buttons sit at the waist in the centre. A square internal pocket is sewn into the shorts on the inside of the right waist. Each side of the short has an opening slit of about 4cm [to increase leg room for movement].             Dark blue wool serge bell bottom sailor trousers with blue and white striped cotton linking around the inside waist. The name 'E. F. ELLIOTT' has been stencilled on in black ink in two places, one of which has been embroidered over in scarlet thread. The trousers fasten with a fall front - flaps and buttons. The first layer consists of two flaps that come in and fasten together on the front of the trousers, these include a small pocket for the wearer to store a watch or pocket handkerchief. This layer is covered with a second fall flap that folded up and down. This being secured with four black buttons at the waist. The trouser legs measure between 12"-13" at the knee and between 12"-14" at the ankle.
