Sportswear trousers in cream cotton. Trousers are front fastening with a button fly. This comprises of four corozo nut buttons on a central, concealed placket that widens near the waistband; two buttons sitting off centre at the top of the placket, fastening to an internal flap; and a further two buttons stitched to the inside of the waistband on the left which fasten through button holes on the waistband to the right. The waistband has belt loops; adjustable buckles at either side of the waist; and internal buttons front and back to which braces can be attached. Angled, inseam pockets sit at either side of the waist and at the back are two welted pockets with a button fastening. The trouser legs have permanent turn ups, 1.5 inches deep. The trousers have been extensively altered having been made larger with alterations down the back seam and at the fly.

Single breasted, black woollen jacket with a stand up collar. The jacket is front fastening via five domed, brass buttons with regimental insignia and the collar via a double hook and eye fastening. Two matching brass buttons are found on each cuff as well as a brass button on each of the shoulder straps. These straps also display three metal rank badges. On the front of the jacket are four large patch pockets, two on the chest and two at the waist. The two chest pockets have flaps and a brass button closure. A medal ribbon is located on the left side of the chest, above the patch pocket. Brass insignia are attached to the outside of the collar on either side of the opening. There is a 16cm vent at each of the side seams. To the reverse, there is a centre seam that runs the length of the reverse and then a seam on either side of this which curves out from the shoulder seam and runs vertically to the hem. The inside of the jacket is lined with a black satin fabric. The inside of the collar has five brass studs to enable a removable, stiff white collar to be attached [2022.36.20.2].

Rayon blend white jersey vest. It has been constructed as a tubular knit on a rotary frame so there are no side seams. The arm holes have been cut to sit very narrowly on the chest and the neck and armholes have been finished with a thick coverstitch with a much lighter rolled hem finishing on the hem. Umbro
Single breasted brown tweed striped jacket with peaked lapels, wide padded shoulders, high breakline and three button closure. It has an angled single welt pocket on the left breast and two flap pockets with a concealed ticket pocket in the right hand side. The pocket bags are in a contrasting elephant grey cotton twill. It does not have a back vent nor buttons at the cuffs. It is fully lined in a brown cotton sateen and features one internal jetted pocket on the right side. It has a cream and red striped sleeve lining.

Burton
Pair of white cotton boxer shorts with a wide double layered waist band which fastens centre front with three white plastic buttons. On each side of the waistband are white cotton tape ties which have been sewn in the centre - they loop through two eyelet holes to tighten the waist. The fly below the buttons is open. The back of the shorts are made of three panels, the seams are run and fell with double stitching. Stamped inside the back waist is '32' in black ink. Possibly military deadstock.

Hand knitted cream cricket jersey or jumper with a V-neck. The main part of the jersey is in a rib knit. Around the neck and waist an additional knitted section in cream and dark brown has been sewn on to the jersey. It has a number of holes from moth damage.

Red and white cotton long sleeved sports shirt. The shirt is made in the 'halved' style with one half of the front white, the other red. The back and the sleeves are half red and half white. The shirt has a turn down collar and a short opening to the chest at the front which fastens with two buttons. The cuffs also button. The shirt has mud stains on the arms and laundry marks and embroidery stitching to the back of the neck. Label 'Bukta / British Manufacture' in the back of the neck. Size 3.
Bukta
Wool one piece swimsuit in dark red or burgundy finely knitted wool. It has a deep scoop neck with straps over the shoulders and fitted legs to mid-thigh. The back of the swimsuit is also scooped and it is cut low under the arms. There is a modesty panel at the crotch. Label in the back of the neck.
