系列 YCI/3/5 - Members' subscriptions

Volumes detailing quarterly fees paid by members of the Polytechnic and, later, the Polytechnic Institute. Fees allowed for use of the facilities and had to be paid in order to become a member of any of the Polytechnic's ports and social clubs. They were not fees for classes, which were recorded separately.

For the most part these volumes record only name, institute number, and the dates on which fees were paid. Further information such as address and age can be found in the membership records (YCI/2/6). However the membership records are organised by date of joining whereas the Subscription ledgers are organised alphabetically by surname. These volumes can therefore be used to find a member's institute number so that further information on them can be sought in the membership records.
