            Jerkin made from heavy brown leather. The jerkin is sleeveless and has a high, rounded neckline. It is front fastening with four large, brown buttons down the front. The buttonholes themselves have stitching around the opening for added reinforcement. The hemline is lower at the front than at the back, coming together at a point at the opening. Towards the hemline on the right side and near the side seam on the left side, there is evidence that the garment has been pieced. The fabric at the hem and outer seams has been folded under and topstitched. On the inside, the jerkin is lined with khaki wool fabric. Under the arms on each side, triangular pieces of leather have been stitched onto the lining for reinforcement. S. Zalcman

            Contains 83 black and white photograph of places visited in Nazi Germany and in Switzerland including Hitler Youth Hostel, activities, Limbourg, Niewiewd Regatta, Labour Camp Tour, Bacharach, The Rhine, Lucerne. Many are official or purchased photographs rather than ones taken by Worswick.

            No details of the purpose of the trip given but presumed to be a Polytechnic Secondary School boat club and swimming club tour, May 1939.

            United States Navy Marine Corps Second World War summer weight flying suit for the VMSB - 344 Marines Scout Bombing Squadron, which was inactivated in October 1944 , with "VMSB - 344" stencil on the chest and "32" on the left sleeve , and "USN" inside , complete with belt, beige brown cotton material, heavy duty talon zippers with leather pull, in size 42L (medium long).
