            Unworn denim straight leg jeans with brown top stitching and brass details. The belt loops are long, double the height of the waistband. There are two loops on the front, and five on the back. The centre front has no visible vly stitch, instead in a colour match thread. The inside leg lapped seam has the edge stitch in contrast thread, and second seam in colour match. The outside leg seam is also lapped in the same way. The back pockets are stitched with a twin needle 'M' detail. The back right yoke has a yellow Maverick label stitched on. Made in Malta Maverick
            Junior Gaultier Blue Wool Trousers with Reflective Patches

            These thick wool trousers have a single small zip pocket on the right-hand side. The centre front closes with a sip which extends to the top of the waistband. The centre front of the waistband has a black webbing strap which closes with a silver clip on buckle. The Trousers have white topstitching on the waistband, crotch and side seams. There is a black rib panel which runs the full length of the side seam of the Trousers. The inside knee has an oval patch of silver reflective fabric which is top stitched on wit a zig-zag cut edge and seamed into the side seam. The hem of the Trousers is finished with black webbing tape, and the inside leg seam has a zip closure. Made in Italy Junior Gaultier

            Striped herringbone made-to-measure trousers as part of a three piece suit. Trousers have wide legs and a slight flare. The centre front closes with a zip and hook and bar fastening.             Orange two tone shorts, worn as look 9 on runway as part of Robyn's MA graduate collection. Shorts have a fly front, closing with a zip fly and hook and bar centre front. The front is flat until the hip point, and from here the shorts are elasticated around the back. The centre front fabric is a brighter orange Ventile fabric, which runs across the back and creates a curve across the body. Seamed at the hip point on the front with a line that curves outwards slightly, the remaining fabric is a darker orange, lighter weight fabric. The side seam has a hidden pocket.

            Dark blue herringbone wide leg trousers with marled white pinstripe. The outside leg seam has a dark grey herringbone tape top stitched over. The centre front pockets are a large welt pocket, set in from the edge. On the right hand side there is a change pocket with flap, which closes with a button. The centre front closes with a zip and button. The back of the trousers has a single welt pocket on each side, with two darts. the outside dart stops at the top of the pocket, and the inside dart runs through the pocket. both pockets close with a button.             Black tailored trousers with box pleat and hidden waistband. The front of the trousers has an inverted box pleat, with the inside pleat forming a crease down the centre front. The top of the pleat has a top stitched flap which creates a wide belt loop on the front.

            The back of the trousers has three belt loops, and a buckle tab which tightens across the back seam. The left pocket has a pocket flap, closing with a button, and the right pocket is a double jet, with no flap. There are two darts, both of which extend below the pocket openings. The centre back leg has a pressed crease which runs down the leg. Made in Japan.

            Yohji Yamamoto Grey Tailored Trousers with Buckled Pleat

            Grey textured wool trousers. There are two front pockets in the side seams with openings straight down from the waistband. The front has a loose pleat which is inserted into the waistband on each side The base of the pleat has a fold which is secured with a bar tack. The top of the pleat is formed with a strap, which extends from the right side and is pulled to form the pleat and button to the centre front. From here it continues to a strap with an O ring extending from the left side, before folding back to fasten to the same button. This process forces two pleats to the front and makes the waistband meet itself again.

            The side is gathered in to the waistband above the pocket. The back of the trousers has a pocket with large flap on each side. The centre back has a pleat into the top centre. There are seven belt loops which sit 1.5 cm lower than the top of the waistband. Designed and made in Japan.

            Shown as part of Yip’s graduate collection from the BA Fashion Design course at the University of Westminster. Narrow leg black wool trousers with a wide red grosgrain moire stripe down each leg. The have a pintuck stitch down the centre front of each leg and side seam front pockets and jetted back pockets. They fasten with a zip and are secured with a hook and bar. They are three-quarter lined in black viscose and feature a fishtail back panel detail complete with silver eyelets. There are two silver snaps at the front of the waistband with all snaps and eyelets interchangeable throughout all garments of the collection. Made in UK. Yip, Nicholas
