            Single breasted waistcoat in a dark blue wool fabric with a narrow white pinstripe. Waistcoat has a deep V neckline and fastens at the front via five, dark blue, plastic buttons. At the front, each side of the waistcoat comes together in a point at the hemline. A welted pocket is at either side of the waist. These are at a slightly slanted angle. A dart runs from the underneath of each pocket to the hem of the waistcoat. There is a vent running 6.5cm up from the hem at each of the side seams. The back of the jacket is made from a dark blue satin fabric. There are two long tabs at the waist made in the same fabric for adjustment using a silver coloured, metal buckle. A seam runs down the centre of the back. The inside of the waistcoat is lined with the same satin fabric, cut in separate panels. Unknown

            Blue denim bleach patterned waistcoat with V-neck and fastening with five buttons. The denim has been bleached or acid treated in a random splash and drip pattern creating layers of colour, pale blue, cream and off white. The waistcoat hem and collar have frayed unfinished edges. There are two horizontal pocket welts on the front, the one on the left has a red label with 'MCQUEEN' on it. There are no shoulder seams - the front panels come over the back to a sharp angle creating an inverted V-shape to the back of the waistcoat. It has two tabs fastening with a metal buckle. Seams are stitched with yellow thread. The inside seams are bound with cotton tape. Care label has been cut out. Size 50. Alexander McQueen

            Khaki brown wool jacket with no buttons or rank badges. It has four front pockets. The chest pockets have scalloped flaps and have centre pleats, the flaps fasten with metal press studs and a button (missing). The lower pockets are very large and have deep flaps.             Double breasted jacket made of black polyester and polyurethane mix fabric. It has six plastic or horn dark brown buttons and fastens with two. There are two large patch pockets at the hips with flaps of black double layer grosgrain and one angled inset pocket at the left chest. The cuffs fasten with four small plastic or horn dark brown buttons with working buttonholes. The main body of the jacket is unlined, the sleeves are lined in black viscose.             Khaki blazer with cream contrast stitching. There is a notch lapel covering a line of security stitching holding back the facing. The jacket is unlined, with facings on the hems finished with contrast stitching. The centre front closes with three brown buttons and cream button holes. There is a double jet pocket on the chest, closed with a button. The side panel is shaped into a curve panel finished with a line of tripple top stitching, with the inside panel shaped with a top stitched dart. The curved panel continues into the underarm where it cuts off the front sleeve seam. Both the front and back sleeve seam, and curved seam are finished with tripple top stitching. The centre back and back seams are finised in the same way, with a single vent in the centre back. The jacket it entirely unstructured. Made in Japan. Issey Miyake

            Tailcoat made from an olive green wool. As with the traditional tailcoat design, the front of the coat is cut away and stops just around waist length. The skirt of the coat at the rear is split and has has two tapering sections or 'tails.' These finish at approximately knee length. The coat is double breasted with a black velvet collar with pointed lapels. Fastening at the front, there are six gilt, metal buttons [not original] and four metal, shank buttons covered in black and olive green silk brocade. There are three gilt buttons and two fabric covered buttons on either side of the opening, which fasten through button holes on the opposing side of the opening. The coat is unlined. Unknown

            A collection of bundles of paper and cardboard tailoring pattern blocks for jackets, coats and trousers. Total of 111 bundles of loose pattern pieces with some additional loose paper items. They are connected through punched holes in the top of the patterns with cotton cording attached to metal hanging hooks. All of the pattern pieces have handwritten notations and some are stamped with 'Creations Fischer / 18 Rue Duhesme / Paris 18ème'. Many have 'YSL' or Yves Saint Laurent hand written on them; others are stamped with 'Overseas Services and Trading / Diffusion / Givenchy Gentleman'; there are also some for Hermès Femme that Georges Fischer adapted from a man's block.             Light green cotton collarless waistcoat with machine embroidered design of leaves and flowers across the fronts in light green thread. It buttons down the front with six brown horn buttons sewn on with red thread and has four slanted welted pockets. The back and lining is cream cotton and there are back tabs which fasten with a double prong metal buckle and multicoloured thread eyelets.

            Black single breasted dinner jacket with one button and wide curved black cotton velvet lapels. It has curved black cotton velvet cuffs. The collar is in the same textured wool as the main part of the jacket. The lining is woven with 'Christian Dior' at angles.
