            Black wool single breasted vest or waistcoat - part of a three-piece suit. It has a v-neck and fastens down the front with six black buttons. It has four slanted pockets - two chest and two at waist. The fronts were pointed but have been altered by taking up the points to the underside and stitching. The back is made of black cotton sateen and has a back strap with a black japanned two prong metal buckle with 'BRITISH' embossed into it. It is lined in cream striped cotton. There is a factory label on the inside of the left top pocket.

            Dark blue waistcoat with round neck and no collar which fastens with five heavy metal (lead) shank buttons. The buttons are orb shaped and crudely faceted. The buttonholes are hand stitched. The waistcoat has two angled pockets with flaps at hips and two small side vents. It is lined in blue acetate rayon. Part of a suit, with matching trousers. Bespoke.

            High waisted, pleated grey wool trouser with cummerbund style waistband with extended tab at the centre front which is secured with four buttons. The internal tab also has four buttons and there are six ivory buttons sewn on around the waistband for the attachment of braces. It has a front change pocket with flap and button closure on the right side and two slant front pockets along with two back jetted pockets with button closures. It has '30W, 30L' written in pen into the waistband and features stitched turn ups.

            Tommy Nutter brown checked darted waistcoat with blue, green and orange detailing. It has lapels and a button fastening made up of five brown plastic buttons with a sixth button as decoration. It has two shallow slant welt pockets on the front and has a brown viscose lining back with adjustable back cinch with gunmetal slider held in position by a loop just to the left of the centre back. The waistcoat is lined in cream cotton.

            Black velvet waistcoat with pink acetate back. It has four pockets, two angled welt breast pockets and two flap pockets. It fastens with five gilt orb shank buttons with a sixth decorative button. The front is lined in pale pink acetate which also constructs the cinched back. Part of a selection of suits that Vivienne Westwood made for iconic hairstylist Sam McKnight from women's fabrics selected by McKnight, who worked with Westwood in the early 1990s before the launch of Westwood's MAN collections in 1996.

            Brown tailored waistcoat with six buttons on centre front. Each side has two pockets, the top pocket being smaller than the lower. There are two lines of stitching on the right hand side remaining from a removed label. The back has a plain brown lining, and the inside has a white lining with three black pinstripes repeated. There is no back sinch. each side seam ends with a small vent. Made in UK Designer unknown

            Black wool dinner or evening jacket with grosgrain shawl collar (part of a two piece suit). Made to measure. It has no back vent and closes centre front with one black button. Lined in black twill rayon, sleeves lined in cream rayon. Hand and machine stitched. Evidence of alteration with inserts to the lining at the shoulders.             Bespoke tailored wool jacket (part of a two piece suit) with large single breasted lapels. The lapels are wide and curve in towards the button closure. The collar has a notched point with a single button hole on the left side.

            The centre front closes with a single button with hand stitched button hole. The jacket overall shape is slim, narrow at the shoulders and fitted on the waist. The back of the jacket has a yoke seam and a seam at the waist, both finished with a hand pick stitch. The section between is formed of three vertical pleats, a variation of an American sport jacket. Below the waist seam, the back seam becomes a double vent, secured at the top with a row of hand stitching.

            The front body of the jacket has a patch pocket with rounded corners and a box pleat. The edges of the pocket are all hand pick stitched. The sleeve has a single functioning button. All edges are secured with hand stitching. With original hanger 2019.63.16. Designed and made in England.
