The centre chest is covered with three horizontal stripes of green, yellow and blue [each stripe is 4cm wide], which are sewn onto the Vest, instead of attaching it to fabric or weaving it in. In the centre of the stripes is an embroidered, woollen, oval patch with a blue border and three handmade red capital letter A's representing the Amateur Athletic Association.
