              Pair of boys football trainers in black leather. Trainers lace up with black laces which thread through five pairs of eyelet holes and have a leather tongue. Three white leather bands with serrated edges sit across the inner and outer sides of the upper of each trainer [Adidas logo stripes] and a white half-moon at each heel.               adidas adizero 5-Star 3.0 Cleats (studded football boots) with synthetic printed upper with a dark blue and white camouflage print, white plastic soles and studs and dark blue laces. The boots print pattern is reminiscent of the dazzle camouflage employed during World War I. However, the print was inspired by the automotive industry's prototype testing procedure, which uses a similar camouflage pattern to conceal the design lines of prototype cars during road testing.

              Pair of dark brown leather crocodile effect lace up shoes. They have a wide rounded bump toe which is shaped with four darts with the sewn edges on the outside of the shoe creating ridges over the outer part of the toe. They have five pairs of metal eyelet holes and an exaggeratedly extended tongue which widens at the top with rounded edges. The shoe lining extends slightly beyond the edge of the tongue creating a trim of the raw side of the leather. They are double stitched, have brown cotton laces and are lined in yellow tan leather. The sole and heel are leather.

              Pair of red synthetic reflective fabric loafer shoes. Goodyear welted with heavy black soles and leather inners. Sole marked 'NPS Shoes Est 1881' and 'Soft Suspension Soles'. Part of outfit for Look 5 of James's graduate collection.

              James's shoes have a red reflective upper with black edging. The welt of the shoe is made from natural tan calf leather and features a heavy black ‘boot / almost wellington’ sole. The style was developed directly with the Northampton shoe manufacturer Solovair who produced a total of seven shoes each with a unique upper, using a selection of fabrics from the collection.
