The cut backing has been over stitched with looping machine embroidery in dark blue thread. It has one plain patch pocket on the left chest. It fastens with six mother of pearl buttons and one on each cuff. A T-shaped tear at the left back near the hem has been repaired with machine stitching. Size M.

Alexander McQueen
Cream semi-sheer dress or evening shirt with woven lace see-through front. The lace is woven in a pattern of small checkerboard squares. It has a turn down collar and fastens centre front with seven cream opaque plastic buttons. The collar and cuffs are made of the same lace as the shirt fronts layered over the plain cream fabric and with stiffened inners. The cuffs fasten with two of the same plastic buttons as the front.

White long sleeve cross collar dress shirt. Dress shirt carries a concealed seven button placket with pearled white shirt buttons. Cross collar also has an attached button to fasten. The back of the garment carries a shoulder yoke with a centre back box pleat. The side seams and shoulder seams are fastened together using felled seams and the lower shirt hem is upturned with a top stitch finish. The sleeve is finished with a single buttoned cuff with a top stitched finish. B Store was originally located in Conduit Street, London.

Notes: the first season experimenting with garment washing and dying how the exposed seams fray and distort, this shirt was washed to look like a white shirt that had been dirty so many times from work that even once clean it retains a yellow/ brown hue.

The turn down collar points have a narrow channel with an opening in the top allowing the blade of the stays to be inserted and showing the sword hilt. The shirt fastens centre front with six mother of pearl buttons. It has a patch pocket on the left chest. The cuffs each fasten with two small mother of pearl buttons.
