Wear under the arms with a repaired tear at the left armhole and has probably been altered by taking in the side seams and then let out. Size 14

The collar has channels for collar stiffeners and the cuffs are rounded and fasten with one button and buttonhole. There are two long vertical darts on each side of the centre waist at the back. Size 14 1/2. Possibly garment dyed as the labels are yellow.

The high, turn down, stiff collar has curved front edges and has tabs which fasten with a silver coloured press stud at the centre neck. The front button closure is concealed with a hidden fly. It has fold back double cuffs to be worn with cuff links. The shirt is unworn deadstock in original packaging.

White cotton day shirt with starched bib front and turn back cuffs. The shirt is made of Aertex woven cotton with a short stand collar (to be worn with a detachable collar).

Light yellow cotton short sleeved top or shirt. It has a pointed turn down collar and centre front placket opening to the middle of the chest which fastens with three mother of pearl buttons. There are short vents in each side seam and narrow shoulder yoke at the back. Label in the back of the neck.

Long sleeved shirt made of lightweight synthetic mix fabric woven with a white semi-transparent stripe and over printed with a pattern of intertwined flowers and leaves in pale blue. There is a pocket on the left chest. The shirt has a large turn down collar with rounded points and fastens centre front with a dress front button stand with nine mother of pearl shell buttons. The rounded cuffs fasten with two mother of pearl shell buttons each (one missing on the right cuff). It has two long waist darts in the back on each side which are slightly curved. Large woven label sewn into the back of the neck. It has been mended with hand stitching around the back of the left sleeve seam where it attaches to the back panel. 15 1/2 collar.
I Was Lord Kitchener's Valet
Long sleeved linen shirt with bib front and button holes for dress studs or removable buttons. Small monogram in red embroidery 'CF' or GF'. Machine sewn with hand worked buttonholes.

Shirt is fastened at the front by six mottled white opaque plastic buttons and a tab with a popper fastening that runs across the collar closure partway between the collar button and the points of the shirt. Shirt has two patch pockets on either side of the chest and a rounded hem. Made from a polyester and nylon mix, the shirt has fine, blue, vertical stripes on a white background. Near the hem on the front left is printed "9835 TABBER TP S /ARROW TAPER / A7006M5 16 14" with an American Union Label printed underneath.
