Photographs of the Polytechnics athletics section of the parade, which included representatives of the Harriers, the Boxing Club, the Water Polo Team, and the Leaders of the Men's and Women's Gymnastics.
The photograph shows a group of girls in athletic costume marching with men in white uniforms with embroidered caps behind. The premises of the Maypole Dairy Co Ltd, Franklands, J Silvertown and LN Fowler & Co can be seen in the background. A large crowd is also just visible. Annotated on reverse 'LMS 1922'
