Established c.1979. Bi-termly meetings reporting to the Court of Governors, the committee acted as a focus for ideas both within and outside PCL. It performed the overall management task of co-ordinating the appropriate financial establishment planning.

Terms of Reference: to provide long and short term co-ordination and planning of recreation facilities, to critically review current patterns and extent of usage of recreation facilities, report regularly to Court of Governors on existing usage and development plans.

Members: 2 governors (1 chair), recreation organiser, 1 representative from each Institute Club, 2 non-academic staff, 2 SU members (1 sports secretary)
