Photograph of the chalets and boathouse taken from a moving boat on the lake (due to the ripples on the water). Used.
Annotated on verso: 'Lucerne. These are the chalets we are staying at. We are having a wonderful holiday with sunny weather. Have been to several places with different Tours. We go onto Lugano Tomorrow. Hope you are all quite well. Love from us both to all. [Edith]'. Addressed to 'Miss Harvey, Michways Park, Aigburth Avenue, Aldwick Bognor Regis, England.' Postmarked 16 September 1938.
