Newspaper cutting dated July 6th 1907, featuring five photographs from the Daily Mirror, of the championships of the Amateur Athletics Association at Manchester: water-jump in the 2 miles Steeplchase, won by J English; B Soderstrom wins the pole jump with a jump of 10ft. 10in.; J W Morton wins the 100 yards; O Groenings wins the 120 yards hurdles; M A Leeke puts the weight 37ft. 01/2in; 197x113mm. Photograph of unidentified walker, with cyclist behind. Date added by hand 1907; 94x90mm. Newspaper cutting with one photograph from the Daily Mirror, of the autumn meeting of the London Athletic Club at Stamford Bridge [21st September 1907]. Image shows the 300 yards hurdles race in which Groenings beat Burton by half a yard. Time 36 3-5 sec - best on record.
