1. Arthur Wint running for the Polytechnic Harriers in the 440 yards final of the Amateur Athletics Association Championships, held at White City on the 21st June 1952. He went on to win the race with a time of 48.1 seconds. LC. Lewis (who finished second) can be seen to the right of the picture. T.L. Higgins came third.
2. The final round of the 120 yards hurdles competition of the Amateur Athletics Association championships, held at White City on the 21st June 1952. R.W Weinberg won the race, followed by P.B. Hildreth (of the Polytechnic Harriers) and H. Doubleday.
