Envelope containing completed membership slips for 1958/59, 1966/67 and 1968. Completed slips contain name, address, institute number of the applicant and date and occasionally comments on the applicant. One slip remains attached to the original document detailing meeting times, subscription information and rules. The envelope also contains a hand-written letter from a prospective member requesting information on the club, a statement of the transfer of subscription funds from the Polytechnic of Central London to the clubs' account and two blank application forms for the Amateur Fencing Association and Ladies' Amateur Fencing Union, as well as space for the applicant to fill in their details the forms include the association logo, and the association's definition of an amateur.
