Black inflatable waterproof and breathable gilet to be worn as a base layer. The gilet uses air insulating technology to protect against the cold and when inflated underneath a windproof jacket, provides torso protection against temperatures down to -20C. It is also waterproof (10,000mm), windproof and highly breathable (5,000mvp). The body-mapping pattern of the gilet is formed using wavy channels across the front and back and distributes the air to fit the contours of the body, increasing thermal performance and reducing cold spots. It has an inflatation valve concealed internally under a flap on the upper right side. This allows the wearer to inflate the gilet manually to self regulate body temperature; inflating the gilet when temperate drops and deflating the glet when conditions warm up. It has elasticated arm holes and waistband to ensure a close fit to the body as a core layer. The waistband also has silicone Airdown taping to keep it secure and reduce movement. The standing collar is fleece lined and The gilet closes with a central black plastic zip and has red AirDown taping that runs internally parallel to the zip. It has two slanted front zipped pockets all complete with red AirDown pulls and two large internal pockets. The left pocket features an instructions label to inflate the gilet.
