Established c1982 and disbanded in 1988, it was a short-term group set up to provide a positive and immediate response to the requirements of the Joint Advisory Committee.

Terms of Reference: to consider the implications of Recovery Plan and to promote alternative strategies for the 1982-1983 budget allocation; to prepare budget estimates; to make recommendations on management structures and processes; to consider requirement of non-teaching support; to respond to the Joint Advisory Committee as required.

Members: Rector (Chair), Deans of Schools, Head of Library Services, Head of Computer Services, Head of International Services, Head of Short Courses, Academic Registrar, Finance Officer, Deputy Finance Officer, Secretary.
