            V necked, woollen jumper which is knitted in a twisting pattern, creating the traditional cable knit design. Jumper is cream in colour with pale blue detailing at the neck and hem. A wreath design and the lettering 'C.U.A.C' are knitted into the centre front of the jumper in the same pale blue. The garment has long sleeves with ribbed cuffs.             Dark pink-red cotton long-sleeved knitted jumper with V-neck and embroidered and appliqued cartoon-style character to the left front. Jumper has ribbed neckline, cuffs and hem [neckline approx. 3 cm wide, hem and cuffs 7 cm length]. The left hem is embroidered in black heavy zig-zag stitch with a 25cm length cartoon figure with a circular body, sunglasses, a cap with Umbro double diamond.             Bright blue wool knitted swimsuit or trunks with white elasticated belt striped with two lines of silver-coloured thread and a silver-coloured shield-shaped buckle. The suit has a high waist and belt loops with narrow white stripes down each side seam. The leg openings are cut around the top of the thigh. There is a a sewn on shield-shaped badge to the left front near the hem with the Bukta emblem of a woman in a swimsuit riding a flying fish - this emblem is also engraved into the belt badge.

            Alexander McQueen Cable Knit Overcoat A/W 1999

            For A/W 1999 McQueen experimented with cable knitting to make pieces other than sweaters. This overcoat is made from a thick black wool sweater knit in a cable design, constructed into McQueen's signature men's topcoat. The front placket has four hidden buttons. Two side pockets at waist level, and two vertical slit pockets at chest level. 17" centre back vent. Main body lined in black cotton, sleeves in black satin rayon.

            Cotton knit jumper or sweater with V-neck. The rib welts at neck, cuffs and bottom edge are navy blue with a knot pattern half-way up the rib. The main body and sleeves are patterned in navy blue and olive green with a cream stripe borded by two burgandy stripes at the bottom of the sleeves, around the bottom and around the neck.             V-neck, sleeveless jumper which has been hand knitted in a variegated green wool giving a marle effect. The neck and sleeves are ribbed and the ribbing has been knitted double width then folded back on itself and hand stitched at the seam. The hem of the garment is not ribbed but has been turned up.             Cream hand knitted wool henley jumper made in the style of a 1900's French knitted undergarment. It is fully fashioned and constructed from a basic stockinette stitch with purl stitch lines running either side of the side seams and a single line connecting the sleeve. The wide placket is made up of a checkerboard pattern of purl and plain stitch and features three mother of pearl buttons. It has a wide angled scoop neck, for layering over a base layer garment and diamond underarm gussets for comfort and movement. The body and the single rib cuffs are in an oatmeal colour with the sleeves in a lighter cream. The hem is made up of a double rib. Designer unknown
